Description

This refurbished 40ft hazardous storage container is modified to provide secure, compliant storage for intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) and hazardous materials. Custom-built on a solid used shipping container chassis containing approximately 70% recycled materials by weight, the unit features a 1,300-litre bunded floor engineered to safely capture and contain leaks or spills from standard 1,000-litre IBC units.

Equipped for safety and airflow, the container includes three floor-mounted 350 mm vents paired with three roofline vents on the opposite wall to ensure continuous cross-ventilation and prevent the buildup of hazardous fumes or escaped gases. Three sets of double doors positioned along the side provide broad, forklift-accessible entry points for straightforward loading and unloading.

All access doors are fitted with high-security lock boxes and rain guards to maintain wind and watertight integrity. The interior includes electrical provisions, and the exterior is finished in custom paint. Suitable for industrial, construction, and rail operations requiring compliant bulk hazardous fluid management.
