The Carrier Transicold PowerLINE Series 55 (Model 69UG15-050S-55) undermount generator set delivers reliable, continuous, unattended power for refrigerated ISO shipping containers during road and rail transport. Designed to mount securely underneath a container chassis, this genset provides a full 15 kW output to ensure refrigeration units remain fully operational in transit or at remote off-grid locations.
Powered by an EU Stage V compliant CT4-134Di 2.2-liter 4-cylinder water-cooled direct-injection diesel engine (18.5 kW) with an electronic governor, the unit features an ultra-high-efficiency permanent magnet generator (PMG). Carrier’s FuelWise™ two-speed technology automatically toggles between 1500 rpm (50 Hz) and 1800 rpm (60 Hz) based on cooling demand, achieving fuel savings of up to 34%.
Built for durability and ease of maintenance, the heavy-duty all-steel frame and sheet metal components are powder-coated for superior corrosion resistance. Standard features include driver-side controls inside a waterproof control box, safety shutoffs for low oil pressure and high coolant temperature, a full-flow spin-on oil filter with internal bypass, an integral fuel filter with water separator, and an electric fuel warmer.
