Designed with a slimline profile, it provides the additional cargo clearance needed to accommodate up to 15 pallet rows in compatible 53-foot domestic containers—expanding your payload capacity to match over-the-road transport capabilities.
Built around a rugged TK486V 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled, direct-injection diesel engine and a 4-cylinder Thermo King X430 reciprocating compressor, this system delivers reliable heating and cooling powered under the control of the SR-3 microprocessor controller. The unit utilizes environmentally responsible R-452A refrigerant with lower global warming potential and meets Final Tier 4 EPA emissions standards.
Equipped with durable aluminum doors, stainless steel hardware, and a flush-mount evaporator to minimize impact damage during loading and unloading, the SLXi-DRC is optimized for rail and intermodal transport. Standard features include the EMI 3000 extended maintenance interval package, a factory-equipped ThermoLite solar panel, telematics capability, and a rail-ready horizontal side exhaust system.
