Powered by a robust 4-cylinder TK486V direct-injection liquid-cooled diesel engine rated at 24.4 hp, this self-contained unit delivers powerful temperature control with 46,000 BTU/hr of cooling capacity and 40,000 BTU/hr of heating capacity. It is equipped with a Thermo King X430 4-cylinder reciprocating compressor (30.0 cu. in. displacement) and managed via the Smart Reefer 3 (SR-3) programmable microprocessor controller.
Built for reliability and low maintenance, the unit includes the EMI 3000 extended maintenance interval package—extending service intervals up to 3,000 hours or 2 years—and utilizes Extended Life Coolant (ELC) rated for up to 5 years or 12,000 hours.
