The Carrier Transicold PowerLINE 69UG15-068S-05 undermount generator set provides reliable, continuous, unattended power for refrigerated ISO containers transported by road or rail. Engineered for demanding transport environments, this under-chassis diesel generator delivers the necessary horsepower, torque, and motor-starting capability to maintain continuous cold chain refrigeration in transit or in remote locations without available grid power.
Engine and Power Generation
Equipped with a V2203-DI 4-cylinder, water-cooled, 2.2 L direct-injection diesel engine generating 32 HP (23.9 kW), the unit meets EPA Tier 4 interim standards for export. It drives a nominal 15 kW brushless, self-regulated generator outputting 460V through a protected receptacle with a spring-loaded cap.
Durable Construction and Cooling
Built with an all-steel fabricated frame and powder-coated sheet metal components, the genset offers superior corrosion protection. Thermal management includes a patented E-coat tube and fin radiator, alongside a self-tensioning Poly V belt that optimizes water pump bearing life and eliminates manual adjustments.
Fuel and Service Efficiency
Designed for extended maintenance intervals, the system features a large-capacity oil pan rated for 2,000 running hours between oil changes, a full-flow spin-on oil filter with internal bypass filtration, and an integral fuel filter with a water separator and fuel heater. An external in-line fuel strainer with a clear bowl enables quick visual inspections. Access is streamlined via a large aluminum service door with quick-release latches, driver-side controls, and integrated forklift pockets for flexible mounting.
