A 40ft roller shutter container provides convenient, wide-span side access, making it an ideal solution for pallet loading, forklift access, and specialized conversion projects such as pop-up bars, catering units, or retail spaces. Equipped with two 17ft electric roller shutters fitted into the side wall, this unit delivers expansive side entry at a fraction of the cost of a full side-opening container.
Each unit retains its original operational cargo end doors fitted with a secure lockbox, providing dual entry points. The electric roller shutters operate via a standard 32A electrical supply and include remote key fobs with an approximate 5m range, allowing seamless operation directly from a forklift or vehicle.
Constructed to order from durable steel and guaranteed wind and watertight, these containers are available in both refurbished and new (one-trip) grades, with standard galvanised shutters or optional RAL powder-coated finishes.
