Description
The Carrier Transicold PowerLINE® Series 55 69RG15-120W-55 is an industry-leading clip-on diesel generator set engineered for continuous, unattended operation with ISO and DNV 2.7-1 refrigerated containers during road and rail transport. Delivering a reliable 15 kW (18.75 kVA, 460 VAC, 3-phase, 60 Hz) output, it provides the required horsepower, torque, and motor-starting capability to power any standard reefer unit anywhere in transit.
Powered by a robust CT4-134DI 4-cylinder water-cooled 2.2-litre direct-injection diesel engine equipped with an electronic governor and speed sensor, the unit includes a large 130 US gal (492 L) fuel tank for extended runtimes. Mounting and demounting are streamlined via an RG15 pin-mounting bracket and self-aligning ratcheted clamp locks designed for secure attachment to container corner castings.
Operational safety and ease of maintenance are reinforced through low-mounted upfront analog instrumentation housed in a waterproof control box, preheat and start/run/off switching, maintenance-free 12V DC battery system, and automatic safety shutdowns for low oil pressure and high coolant temperature.
