The Carrier PowerLINE Clip-On Generator Set delivers dependable, continuous, and unattended power for refrigerated containers transported by road or rail worldwide. Built with rugged construction and straightforward operation, this clip-on genset mounts securely to container corner castings on ISO and DNV 2.7-1 reefers using pin-mounting brackets or self-aligning ratchet clamps for fast attachment and removal.
Powered by a direct-injection 2.2-liter CT4-134DI 4-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine, the generator produces 15 kW (18.75 kVA) at 460 VAC, 3-phase, 60 Hz. It features a heavy-duty 130-gallon fuel tank for extended runtime, disc-type radial fan cooling, a sealed rear bearing, and vacuum pressure-impregnated rotor construction. Operation and maintenance are streamlined with low-mounted waterproof controls, a maintenance-free 12V DC battery, safety stop controls for low oil pressure and high coolant temperature, and preheat/start/run switches.
