High-Efficiency Power & Fuel Savings
Powered by a 2.2-liter CT4-134Di 4-cylinder water-cooled direct-injection diesel engine, the unit features an ultra-high-efficiency 15 kW custom-designed permanent magnet generator (PMG). Equipped with Carrier Transicold’s FuelWise™ dual-speed technology, the system automatically switches between 1500 rpm (50 Hz) and 1800 rpm (60 Hz) according to refrigeration load, saving up to 34% on fuel during transport.
Durable Construction & Extended Maintenance
The 69UG15-050S-55 is built with an all-steel fabricated frame with powder-coated components for corrosion resistance, a stainless steel exhaust, and a patented E-coat tube and fin radiator. Maintenance intervals are optimized with a large-capacity oil pan rated for 2,000 running hours, full-flow spin-on oil filter with bypass filtration, and an integral fuel filter with a water separator and heater.
