The Carrier PowerLINE 69UG15-068S-13 undermount generator set is engineered for continuous, unattended operation to power refrigerated containers during road and rail transport. Designed for seamless mounting beneath standard ISO container chassis trailers, this underslung genset provides reliable power for intermodal reefer operations in any environment.
Powered by a robust 2.2-liter CT4-134Di 4-cylinder water-cooled direct-injection diesel engine rated at 18.5 kW, the unit features an ultra-high-efficiency 15 kW permanent magnet generator. Built-in FuelWise™ two-speed functionality automatically adjusts engine speed via a black box controller to optimize fuel efficiency, reducing consumption by up to 34% compared to standard models.
Constructed with a powder-coated steel frame for corrosion resistance, the unit includes an integral fuel tank, stainless steel exhaust, and a patented E-coat tube and fin radiator. Maintenance is simplified through a large service door with a self-locking quick-release latch, full-flow spin-on oil filtration extending oil change intervals up to 2,000 hours, and built-in safety stop controls for low oil pressure and high water temperature.
