The Carrier PowerLINE Clip-On Generator Set provides dependable, autonomous electrical power designed for continuous, unattended operation on refrigerated containers transported across road or rail networks. Suitable for both ISO and DNV 2.7-1 reefers, this rugged genset mounts securely to container chassis corner castings via pin-mounting brackets or self-aligning ratchet clamp locks, allowing for quick installation and removal in minutes.
Reliable Diesel Performance
Powered by a 2.2-liter CT4-134DI 4-cylinder, water-cooled direct-injection diesel engine equipped with an electronic governor and speed sensor, the system delivers a nominal 15 kW (18.75 kVA) 460 VAC, 3-phase output at 60 Hz. The large 130-gallon fuel tank supports extended runtimes for critical cold chain logistics.
Durable Design & Controls
Built for harsh transport environments, the generator features a brushless, vacuum pressure-impregnated rotor, disc-type radial cooling fan, and a sealed large-diameter rear bearing. Operation is managed through low-mounted, waterproof control boxes featuring manual preheat/start/run/off switches and automatic safety shutdowns for low oil pressure and high water temperature.
