Description
The Carrier PowerLINE® Clip-On Generator Set provides reliable, continuous, unattended power for refrigerated shipping containers transported by road or rail. Engineered for heavy-duty commercial use, this genset attaches directly to ISO and DNV 2.7-1 reefer containers using standard corner castings for secure and fast mounting.
Powered by a robust CT4-134DI 4-cylinder, 2.2-liter direct-injection water-cooled diesel engine with an electronic governor and speed sensor, the system delivers nominal 15 kW (18.75 kVA) 460V AC 3-phase power at 60 Hz. A 130-gallon (492 L) fuel capacity ensures extended runtime for short- and medium-term cold chain transit.
Built with rugged construction, it features a disc-type radial cooling fan, sealed large-diameter rear bearing, and a vacuum pressure-impregnated rotor. Operator-friendly low-mounted controls are housed in a waterproof control box with preheat and start/run/off switching, backed by automatic safety shutoffs for low oil pressure and high coolant temperature.
