Description
The Carrier Transicold PowerLINE® UG15 Series 24 Undermount Generator Set (Model 69UG15-068S-24) is engineered for continuous, unattended power to maintain temperature integrity for refrigerated shipping containers during road and rail transport. Designed for direct mounting beneath standard ISO container chassis, this undermount genset ensures reliable performance without the need to demount equipment during container transfers.
Equipped with a high-efficiency diesel generator providing a full 15 kW output, this unit features built-in FuelWise™ dual-speed technology to deliver up to 34% in fuel savings compared to previous standard units. The powertrain utilizes common-rail fuel injection paired with an enhanced filtration system and a maintenance-free Diesel Oxidation Catalyst, achieving significant reductions in particulate and hydrocarbon emissions while ensuring lifetime CARB and EPA compliance without complex exhaust gas recirculation (EGR).
Engineered for harsh operating conditions, the unit is rated for ambient operational temperatures ranging from -40°C to +52°C (-40°F to +125°F). Standard features include driver-side operational controls within a waterproof housing, integrated safety shutdowns for low oil pressure and high coolant temperature, a 12V DC maintenance-free battery system, and an expansive service access door secured by a self-locking quick-release latch.
