Description
The Thermo King Precedent S-700 delivers industry-leading transport refrigeration performance designed for single-temperature trailers requiring deep-frozen capabilities. Built on a Diesel Direct Electric (DDE) architecture with Electronic Throttling Valve (ETV) technology, the S-700 maximizes energy efficiency and achieves double-digit fuel savings while maintaining precise temperature control in extreme ambient conditions.
Powered by a 4-cylinder, direct-injection TK488CRH liquid-cooled diesel engine rated at 35 HP at 2600 RPM, the Precedent S-700 meets EPA Final Tier 4 and CARB Evergreen emissions standards without the requirement of a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). The common rail fuel injection system controls particulate emissions internally while optimizing fuel consumption.
The refrigeration system features an aluminum alloy X430L reciprocating compressor and curved microchannel condenser coils that offer more than double the surface area of standard coils to maximize airflow and eliminate dead spots. The dual-speed evaporator system provides an airflow capacity of 3,300 ft³/min at 0 Pa static pressure. Integrated Smart Reefer SR4 controls, ServiceWatch diagnostics, and factory TracKing telematics allow for complete fleet monitoring and seamless compliance management.
