Description
The Thermo King SLXi-DRC is a high-performance, single-temperature mobile refrigeration unit engineered specifically for domestic refrigerated container (DRC) applications and semi-trailers. Featuring a slimline profile that is 7 inches slimmer and 200 lbs lighter than comparable models, it maximizes cargo space by allowing an extra pallet row in standard 53-ft containers, matching over-the-road transport capacity.
Powered by a direct-injection, liquid-cooled TK486V 4-cylinder diesel engine and an X430P lightweight aluminum alloy reciprocating compressor, the SLXi-DRC delivers exceptional cooling capacity of up to 46,000 BTU/hr and heating capacity of 40,000 BTU/hr. Control is managed via the Smart Reefer 3 (SR-3) programmable microprocessor controller.
Equipped with low-GWP R-452A refrigerant, an integrated 40W ThermoLite solar panel, and the standard EMI 3000 extended maintenance package featuring Extended Life Coolant (ELC), the unit ensures extended service intervals up to 3,000 hours (or 2 years) for reduced operating costs and environmental impact.
