The Thermo King SLXi-DRC is a high-performance, single-temperature mobile refrigeration unit engineered specifically for domestic refrigerated container (DRC) and intermodal rail applications. Designed with an ultra-slim profile and lightweight build, it allows 53-foot domestic containers to accommodate up to 15 pallet rows—adding an extra row of cargo compared to standard configurations.
Powered by a 4-cylinder TK486V direct-injection diesel engine compliant with Final Tier 4 EPA emissions standards, the SLXi-DRC delivers dependable cooling and heating performance under rigorous transport conditions. It features the lightweight Thermo King X430P reciprocating compressor and uses environmentally responsible R-452A refrigerant with lower global warming potential.
